Addy Rae is 4 Months!

No, this can't be happening!  It can't already be 1/3 of the way until her first birthday!!!  We love our Addelyn SO much.  In fact, so much that I had the CRAZY thought that I should have another baby ASAP because I already miss her being an infant.  I pushed that crazy thought RIGHT out of my mind when I thought realistically.  :)  There is no way on earth I am capable of taking care of two children while being sick and pregnant.  At least not while they are this young.  And with the big move coming up... no way!

Oops, my ADD took over.  Okay, back on to the topic at hand, Addy is 4 months!  And we love her.

She is 15 lbs and 25 inches long, both between the 25th and 50th percentiles.  (Wow, really?  I love having a smaller baby!)

She talks and coos and is the sweetest thing ever.

I haven't really started giving her any baby food yet, and I am not in a hurry like I was at Greyson.  I say "really" because I sort of cheated once and gave her a taste of my breakfast.  *Post edit, I have a few more times at dinner but I am going to hold off for a bit because she had a mild eczema outbreak on her legs, back, and belly one night after eating some food.

Speaking of eczema, besides that one little outbreak, her skin has been flawless the last month.  I put moisturizing creams on her religiously throughout the day even when I think she doesn't need it to keep her skin looking great.   I've decided to stay away from any of the steroid creams for her and take a more natural approach and it has worked just fine.  I have been using organic coconut oil on her before I put on her PJ's at night and she stays moisturized all night long.  I love that stuff!  She is a little greasy butter ball after I put it on.  :)  Whether or not your baby has dry skin I recommend it!

She was an awesome nighttime sleeper from birth until she was about 2 and a half months, with many 10 consecutive sleep hour nights.  Then she was a terrible night sleeper for about three weeks waking every 2-4 hours at night (the eczema maybe!?).  Now she is pretty good again.  She goes down around 7:00 or 7:30 for the night and will wake up once during the night to nurse, occasionally twice, before waking for good around 8:00 or 9:00.  Last night her waking wasn't until 4 AM.  Yay!  At this age Greyson was sleeping 12 straight hours, but I have learned I can't get frustrated because she isn't Greyson!  :)

She takes four naps a day (no set times, just when she is tired), all usually just over an hour.  Sometimes she will bust out a two hour nap.

She loves her exersaucer and horse jumper toy.  She loves playing with toys she can hold and chew on.

She loves Greyson.  Every night he cuddles her in the bed while we read him stories and sing to him.  They both love it.  Grey loves when she "kisses" his face, aka nose dives into him and slobbers all over him.  He thinks it is so funny and tries to get her to do it repeatedly.

Somehow she gets around.  She isn't crawling, but between rolling and scooting she ends up on opposite ends of the crib every time and scoots all around her pack 'n' play.  She can get up on all fours.

She is getting more stable at sitting up but still uses at least one hand for support while she is doing it.

She is very calm and relaxed in the bath.

She is always happy as long as I am holding her and she is getting great at playing on her own.

She is in size 2 diapers and 3-6 month clothes, with some 6-9 months, and 9 month sleepers!

And that is all the random tidbits I can think of right now.
